The Study Abroad Center is working with the Ames Post Office and the U.S. Dept. of State to make it possible for students to apply for their passports without needing to leave campus. This is one day only, January 27 between 11 AM and 2 PM at the Study Abroad Fair, Great Hall, MU.

The cost: $110 for a passport book and $25 processing fee to the Post Office in 2 separate checks.

For first-time study abroad participants, the College of Liberal Arts and Science offers a passport reimbursement program to the first 20 students for up to $100 of the cost. See details for how to apply for the reimbursement here: click on the Passport Reimbursement (in red) to download the Reimbursement Request Form…and don’t forget to attach their original receipt before sending to Kristin Doerder (kjandrsn@iastate.edu).
